My name is Stephanie and I would love to create memories of your family. I am a lover of nature- trees, butterflies, hummingbirds, ladybugs, flowers- and this greatly inspires my photography. I love to camp, hike, cook, garden, sew, taste wine, take walks with my girls, try new restaurants with my husband, have good laughs with friends, and take pretty pictures.
I am lucky to be a mother to three beautiful souls- Sophia- age 10, Vivian- age 8, and Audrey- age 6. I am married to my high school sweetheart and soul mate, Travis. We live a charmed life in the quaint city of Claremont, California.
Like many photographers my interest in photography blossomed with the births of my daughters. However, my passion for art existed long before I became a mother. As the daughter of an artist, I was submerged the arts at a very young age. Instead of sports and dance I attended painting and art classes. When my friends attended gymnastics classes, I made handmade clay beads and fused glass. Family outings consisted of trips to galleries and exhibits, near and far.
My dedication to the craft is full-hearted and endless. I am a proud member of the National Association of Child Portrait Photographers (NAPCP) and The Professional Photographers of America (PPA). My photography education has consisted of local classes, online workshops, small group mentoring, books, forums, photography publications, and good old everyday practice. I am lucky to have received training by some of the best photographers in the country. Basically, I have spent the past seven years submerged in the world of portrait and lifestyle photography. I love to learn and I love what I do.
