And the time has finally come, to disconnect for just a little while, to spend some time out of my office, off my computer, to rest.
I am blessed to do what I do, to capture families together this time of year. To watch them play, cuddle, laugh, run, and of course to take a few pictures of them doing all this. It’s a true blessing and I don’t have the proper words to show how grateful I am for my clients. These clients, new ones, and old, these people trust ME to capture their memories. An honor & privilege in so many ways. I don’t say it enough, but I thank you, and I love you all.
And so it goes, just as it always does, the days until Christmas are few, and I will now shift my focus to my family, my girls, my husband, and my dear friends. I will spend more days away from my desk, and enjoy this Christmas, the only one when my beautiful loves will be 4, 6 & 8. I want to enjoy the moments, and be present. So, what this means is that I may take a few more days to answer an email, or return a call. I will get back to you, but know that my children will be home and my time will be theirs. I will continue to take orders until the end of this week, but starting Monday, all orders received will go in during the week of January 4th.
I greatly look forward to 2016, I have big ideas, and hope to start a few personal projects. I plan to book more family lifestyle session to deliver a product I believe in, and book fewer sessions that just don’t work for me. In truth, I have never been great at planning, it’s just not one of my strengths. I am however, great at taking it day by day, so that is what I will do.
In the coming weeks, I do hope to rest, rest both the body & mind. I hope for the same for you.
