This lovely expectant mother booked her session with me very shortly into her pregnancy. We took our time planning all the details- the perfect location, the wardrobe, the style. Everything was in order.

A good lesson to be learned (for me & my business) is that sometimes things don’t go as planned. In the weeks before our session, my client was ordered to strict bed rest. So, we settled for a home session in lieu of our rustic outdoor plans. What resulted was an intimate session at a place my clients felt most comfortable at (and one of my most favorite sessions to date). I love that they are sitting on their own porch, with their lovely home as a backdrop. This will be the place they bring their newborn twins home to and the yard their children will soon be playing in… this wasn’t the plan, but it truly doesn’t get any better.
